Welcome to Our Cutting-Edge Innovation Lab

We are excited to share with students our Innovation Lab, a school-wide elective that pushes the boundaries of creativity and technology. Designed to immerse students in a diverse range of 21st-century skills, the Innovation Lab equips them to thrive in a fast-evolving world. Students will engage in hands-on learning across four dynamic disciplines: Engineering and Manufacturing, Art Production, Game Design, and Computer Science/Programming—all within a single year.

Explore Four Disciplines,

One Revolutionary Experience

Throughout the school year, students rotate through the computer science focuses, with dedicated expert teachers leading the way.

For the first year of Innovation Lab as an elective, students will rotate to a new class on the wheel after each school quarter. By the end of the year, they will have experienced ALL FOUR disciplines, gaining a broad foundation of knowledge and skills. The Innovation Lab’s unique “wheel rotation” system gives students a chance to work on everything from digital designs and coding projects to engineered prototypes and game design.

This innovative structure isn’t just about exploring different fields—it’s about connecting them. Our lab encourages students to discover how skills from one discipline can enhance and expand another. With cross-curricular projects, students can see first-hand how artistic creativity and technical prowess come together to solve real-world challenges.

For second and third years of Innovation Lab, students can choose one of the subjects on the wheel to study all year long by taking Advanced Innovation Lab as an elective. These advanced classes allow students to further explore the computer sciences they were introduced to the first year.

Learning with a Purpose: Skills for the Future

At the heart of the Innovation Lab is a commitment to student-driven learning and real-world application. We’ve designed the curriculum around Stanford’s Design Thinking Process (DTP), a cutting-edge framework for solving human-centered problems. Whether designing a tech solution, crafting a brand, or creating a captivating video, students will learn how to approach challenges with creativity, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset.

Our mission is clear: we aim to equip students with tangible skills that transfer directly to the workplace. Whether they dream of becoming engineers, digital artists, coders, or entrepreneurs, the Innovation Lab gives students the tools they need to excel.
