Open Enrollment

New Students with
Intradistrict (reside within PYLUSD) Transfers and
Interdistrict (reside outside PYLUSD) Transfers

Each year, OCSCS holds an open enrollment period to ensure all interested families have a fair and equal opportunity to apply.

Our open enrollment period for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year

will open on Monday, November 18, 2024,

and close on Monday, February 17, 2025

Please ensure your application is submitted during this time.

Please Note:  By submitting the OCSCS enrollment form, you are officially applying to enroll your child at OCSCS. This is not an interest form; completing the enrollment form indicates your commitment to securing a spot for your student, should one be available.

New Students Currently Enrolled at
Fairmont, Glenknoll, Glenview, and Woodsboro

New students coming from Fairmont, Glenknoll, Glenview, or Woodsboro Elementary schools do not need to complete an enrollment form.

OCSCS is the "home school" for students residing within the district boundaries of these elementary schools and enrollment is automatic for those students promoting to 7th grade. â€‹â€‹

EXCEPTION:  Current 5th Grade Students at Fairmont, Glenknoll,

Glenview, and Woodsboro

Incoming 6th graders from Fairmont, Glenknoll, Glenview, or Woodsboro Elementary schools need to complete an enrollment form.  Otherwise both schools will assume you are remaining at your current elementary school until next year when you automatically roll into OCSCS for 7th grade.

Students Currently Enrolled at OCSCS

Students already enrolled at OCSCS do not need to complete an enrollment form. Enrollment for the next school year is guaranteed for currently enrolled students.

If space is still available after the open enrollment period closes, OCSCS will accept applications on an ongoing basis until all spots are filled.

Lottery System

If the number of applicants exceeds available spaces by the close

of the open enrollment period, OCSCS will conduct a lottery to ensure

a fair and transparent selection process.

Details will be shared with all applicants as needed.

Families interested in learning more about OCSCS are encouraged to attend our prospective student and family events and school tours during the enrollment period.
